P&H Limited Edition Coronation Collection

Coronation celebrations are beginning early at Pentreath & Hall.

Our love for royal memorabilia runs deep, both collecting and creating. Its tradition can be traced back to 1661 to mark the coronation of King Charles II.

We designed our first tea towel to celebrate the wedding of Prince William to Catherine in 2011 and we haven’t stopped designing commemorative tea towels and decoupage plates since. The Diamond Jubilee, 90th birthdays, national referendums. It was only in June that our Platinum Jubilee tea towels virtually flew out of the shop to all corners of the globe. Then in September 2022 we found ourselves marking a more sombre occasion on the passing of the Queen and have issued a limited-edition decoupage plate to mark the moment.

On a happier note, we thought it fitting to mark the ascension of the new King Charles and Camilla the Queen Consort with a jolly pair of commemorative tea towels, collection of four 'Coronation celebration' decoupage plates made by hand in London, a Limited edition of 200 letterpress posters and last but not least our 'Coronation decoration' tea towel. Illustrated with a rather ambitious plan for celebration decorations to adorn the building front of 17 Rugby Street for the weeks before and after the coronation.
